Conservation of Nature

 

Syedna has always internationally advocated for the conservation of nature to avoid environmental degradation. His realistic and result- oriented guidelines for safeguarding the ecosystem and controlling pollution have been thought provoking.

The Burhani Foundation (India) established by Syedna on the occasion of his 80th birthday, professionally conducts and sponsors projects related to environmental research and preservation of natural resources.

From the dry interiors of Rajasthan, India to the mountain ranges of Yemen where the Mausolea of Dawoodi Bohra Saints are located are home to agricultural projects such as greenhouses, terrace cultivation and lush landscapes.

Syedna's love and respect for nature is embodied in his prose and poetry that are abound with references to the natural world. The appreciation of nature's beauty is also apparent in Fatemi art.
