Revival of Islamic art and Fatemi architecture

The Masjid is a sacred and an integral part of a Muslim's life. Syedna, like his distinguished predecessors, has greatly emphasized and inspired the community members in the construction, renovation and restoration of several Masjids in South Asia, East Africa, the Gulf, Europe, North America and Australia. He determinedly undertook the Herculean task of restoring and repairing the magnificent 9th century Masjid of Imam Hakim (AS), al-Jame al-Anwar in Cairo. The restoration of this Masjid to its former glory and elegance demanded meticulous planning and perseverance. Besides this Masjid, a number of other Jaame Masjids of the Fatemi era that were ravaged by time and weather have been restored to their original majestic and architectural splendor by Syedna. He has supported and continued the growth of Fatemi architecture in all its grandeur and aesthetic perfection.
